Help with Online Ordering
Online ordering at Steers is powered by Yumbi.
How does it work?
First you pick your restaurant, then you place your delivery or collect order. You can either pay with a credit card or cash when you get your order. Unlike other online ordering sites, Yumbi prints the order out directly in the store and gives you confirmation that your order is being processed by the restaurant.
What if I have special instructions?
The site lets you put in your own special instructions for either the food order, or for the delivery. For example you could say “Hoot at the gate”.
What if the restaurant is too busy or closes before they take my order?
You will get the order confirmation when the restaurant operator confirms that your order has been accepted. An SMS and email is then sent to you with either the confirmation and pickup/delivery time or a failure message if the store is unable to fulfill the order for some reason.
What if I don’t get order confirmation for 10 minutes?
If you don’t get a confirmation either via SMS or email for 10 minutes, please call the restaurant to check if they received your order. It may be that our cell phone or Internet service providers have let us down.
What if I want to change my order after placing it?
If you want to change your order after you’ve sent it, then call the restaurant and ask them if it’s possible over the phone. It all depends on how far the restaurant is with processing your order.
